This delightful production for families presents music from the greatly loved comic opera, The Barber of Seville by the famous nineteenth-century Italian composer Gioachino Rossini. A charming and enterprising character called Figaro is the town barber and former servant of the handsome young Count Almaviva who is in love with a beautiful young heiress, Rosina. The situation is complicated because Rosina is the ward of a grumpy old physician who intends to marry Rosina for her substantial dowry when she comes of age.

Figaro gets up to all sorts of funny antics in his efforts to help Count Almaviva take Rosina away from her guardian.
