Marta Domingo returns to the Royal Opera House Muscat with her wildly successful production of La Traviata with its iconic Verdi score conducted by Plácido Domingo. Premiered in 2019, set in the hedonistic world of the 1920s, a time of economic uncertainty and social change, this is the perfect backdrop for a story about a modern woman, surrounded by rich men, as she navigates the complicated and delicate details of true love. Yusif Eyvazov sings Alfredo with Juliana Grigoryan in her debut as Violetta. This stunning opera is enriched by the Compañía Antonio Gades, adding flamenco dance choreography to the drama.
