Families will stream into the opera house for the exciting story of Robin Hood, archer, adventurer, courageous defender of the poor! Michele dall'Ongaro's Robin Hood is an opera for children to a libretto by Vincenzo De Vivo. Designed to capture the imagination, foster love of music and a spirit of adventure, and to inspire human kindness, this opera is a dramatic and exciting retelling, with a huge cast and a very creative staging. Vibrant colours, fabulous costumes, and imaginative ways to recreate Sherwood Forest out of thousands of differently shaped green ballons set off this family production.
