The Royal Opera House Muscat brings you a unique programme of music from the charming oriental repertoire, featuring a rare performance of the Violin Concerto No. 1 from the important and internationally reputed composer ZHAO Jiping who collaborated with ZHANG Yimou in many of his movies, played by Mengla Huang.Opera soloists including the celebrated baritone LIAO Changyong, the rising soprano ZHANG Meigui and bass GUAN Zhijing will be accompanied by the NCPA Choir and Teatro Lirico di Cagliari Orchestra, under the NCPA's Artistic Director of Music and Music Director of the NCPA Orchestra Lü Jia.
