In response to public appetite, ROHM is pleased to reintroduce the concert series,
Kulthumiyat, which was launched in 2015 in celebration of the 40th anniversary
of the great singer Umm Kulthum. Enjoy a stirring evening of tarab exploring the
masterpieces of this unique artist, whose songs still dominate sales and media
platforms despite her death in 1975. The Umm Kulthum canon provides a rich
archive and a challenge to the abilities and technique of new singers in the tarab
genre. We are pleased to invite Yousra and Mai Farouk, who have proven
their superior capacity, to present these immortal songs to the Arab world conducted by Amir Abdel Magid.
