MELHEM ZAIN

Melhem Zain is an acclaimed singer with a voice that has been described as dazzling and mountainous. When, at the age of seven, Melhem Zain made an amazing debut with Umm Kulthum’s song, Lessa Faker, he was already following his destiny of achieving tremendous success throughout the Arab world. He now sings in a style inspired by the great Arab artists Wadih El Safi, Mohammed Abdel Wahab and Nazem Al Ghazali. It was Melhem Zain’s remarkable rendition of Wadih El Safi’s song Andak Bahriye ya Rayyis which led to his famous approbation, Rayyis El Ghenniye.
