Set to Tchaikovsky’s beloved music, The Nutcracker is the most widely performed and enduringly popular ballet in the world. The story tells of an enchanted nutcracker doll coming to life and a magical battle between mice and toy soldiers. The famous Kingdom of Sweets, the Sugar Plum Fairy and the heroine, Clara, are elements of the ballet with enormous appeal for audiences of all ages and especially enjoyed by families. The production is choreographed by Nina Ananiashvili and Alexey Fadeechey and conducted by Alevtina Ioffe.
