KING OF BLUES

In a career spanning more than three decades, the internationally successful Italian singer, songwriter and musician with the stage name Zucchero, has sold over 80 million records. First known as the ‘The Father of Italian Blues’, Zucchero Fornaciari now alternates between Italian ballads and boogie-like R&B pieces. He has won numerous awards, including chiefly the prestigious Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, two World Music Awards, six IFPI Europe Platinum Awards and a Grammy nomination. Zucchero has collaborated with famous musicians, among whom are Eric Clapton, Miles Davis, Ray Charles, Sting, Bono, Peter Gabriel and Luciano Pavarotti. He has performed at prestigious venues, most notably the Royal Albert Hall and Arena di Verona. Zucchero’s 2017 Black Cat world tour encompassed 137 events and his 2018 tour, Wanted is now well under way.
