ON THE LAND OF GYPSIES

This spectacular musical play was written, composed and produced by the highly creative Ghadi Rahbani, and directed/co-composed by the renowned Director Marwan Rahbani. Marwan & Ghadi who are acclaimed throughout the Arab World for their outstanding quality of their productions appreciated for originality, imaginative innovation and finesse. On the Land of the Gypsies premiered at Lebanon’s Casino Du Liban Theatre and ran for a solid four months, then was presented for 3 nights in Dubai. The story is about a rich Lebanese-Brazilian expatriate who returns to Lebanon to build a villa for his fiancée on his ancestral land only to discover that Gypsies have established an entrenched community there and have no intention of leaving. As the owner embarks on a quest to regain his land, something unexpected happens…
