Pre-Performance Talk
Opera "Les Pecheurs De Perles"
Ticket holders attending opera “Les Pecheurs De Perles" are invited
to a pre-performance talk about this masterpiece opera composed by
Georges Bizet, who is famous for his work of Carmen. Les Pecheurs De
Perles or The Pearl Fishers, the opera that has launched Bizet’s
career in opera compositions at the time (1863), was set in Old
Ceylon and has an exotic oriental taste. The talk will shed light on
the life of the composer, the opera itself, the company and the
production.
The talk will be presented by Mr. Stefano Mazzonis di Pralafera,
Directeur Général et Artistique - Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège.
